There is an overabundance of parents wishing to adopt newborns. In today's world, newborns are in such high demand that it has created a market for child trafficking. While there are infants who need new Forever Families, that is not the crisis. The infants will find homes. Today's tragedies lie with older children who don't have Forever Families. They lie with sibling groups, who won't stay together unless there is someone who cares enough to provide them a home, together. Many of these children reside in orphanages throughout the world. Others are in temporary foster homes. What they all have in common is that they are anxiously waiting for their new Forever Family. It is frustrating to hear couples who have been waiting to adopt, who speak of how tired they are of waiting for a baby. If such couples are tired after several years of waiting for a baby, then imagine the frustration of a child who has been waiting for his Forever Family for nearly a decade! Ele Lembra hopes to bring together the parents who wait with the children who wait. We know that the second they meet, that hearts will be changed, and that a new "Forever Family" can be created.
